There are two handouts that match the slides from the PowerPoint Files. The superhero guide has fewer slides and uses Marvel Heroes. The Guide to School has over 20 slides. A simple worksheet that can be used in class or for a homework assignment. The idea is for the student to generate their own variants of the poster that would fit into a different historical event or time frame. Perhaps "Keep Calm and Ignore the Mongols!" This means it can be used multiple times throughout the year as an assignment. You can edit the Docx file to make it work for other subjects.

The Places have basic starting with or ending with to distinguish whether they are Roman, Viking, Saxon or Norman. Great for post-1066 lesson or learning about local geography. Use a local or national map. The Words tasks are quite simple and show the students how many words in English are actually from elsewhere.
